Each hand-made item is beautifully curated to adorn the body in new and interesting ways, merging traditional African beadwork craft with modern fashion trends and luxury silhouettes. Necklaces, elaborate body pieces, earrings, face veils and even capes are crafted out of the colourful glass material which is sourced locally. Founded in 2015 by the talented Sharon Wendo, the brand has received constant press attention, including placements in fashion bibles Vogue Italia and Harper’s Bazaar. Collaborating on numerous fashion week projects at London Fashion Week, Western Australia as well as local Kenyan shows is a passion for Wendo whose work is also often spotted on major African celebrities.
