Uche Egele is the founder and Creative Director of Marté Egele, a genuine handmade Nigerian leather accessories brand born out of true friendships and a yearning for individuality.

Marté Egele was conceptualised while she schooled and worked in Los Angeles. She had a desire to create bold, unique, high quality products with a fusion of African culture and Western style. This gave birth to the brand’s signature style; with every leather accessory carefully crafted by African artisans.

An established designer, Uche has worked with Elisabeth Weinstock, True Religion Brand Jeans and Grey Projects in Lagos, Nigeria before stepping out to launch her own thriving fashion brand.
