Adaiso is founded by Dhvani Tombush. Growing up, Dhvani remembers sitting in swathes of colorful fabric in India while nursing a cold Coca Cola, and walking through stalls in Nigerian markets listening to the whistles of 'oyinbo pepe' (roughly translated as 'foreigner'). As the child of two rich and vibrant cultures, Nigeria and India, Dhvani has been surrounded by colour and creativity that inspired the birth of Adaiso. Together with her rich heritage, she has lived her life across and been inspired by the cities of Abuja, Lagos, Johannesburg, New York, Boston, Dubai, Chennai and now calls Nairobi 'home'. With a background in branding and business development in the industries of fashion, fintech, and consulting, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School, Dhvani combines the best of her experience in Adaiso. The mission of Adaiso. is to make luxury fashion more affordable for women without compromising on quality or style. Beyond that, Adaiso. seeks to empower and celebrate women in their everyday lives. Most of the time, women only dress up occasionally. Adaiso. is inspiring women to embrace luxury fashion as a part of their daily routine, making them feel confident and beautiful every day.
