With a background in biology and marketing, Tatiana’s journey began in 2018 when she volunteered in Kibera, Nairobi's largest informal settlement. In 2021, she made the life-changing decision to relocate to Kenya to immerse herself fully in the community, learning from local artisans and embracing their culture. By 2023, her vision culminated in the creation of AfroWema—a brand dedicated to blending African culture with eco-conscious fashion. AfroWema’s collections are a reflection of Tatiana’s passion for sustainability, cultural heritage, and artistic expression.
