Anita Clare Atuanya is a Nigerian-born fashion designer who moved to Cape Town in 2013 to pursue a degree in fashion at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, after completing high school in Nigeria. Driven by a passion for creativity and a desire for more freedom to explore her talents—something she felt was limited back home—Anita immersed herself in both the academic and practical aspects of the fashion industry. In addition to studying fashion design, she gained experience in business, customer service, and events through roles in retail, marketing, and interning at Men’s Wear Fashion Week. She also runs her own online fashion business and networking events. Her brand is inspired by her African heritage, modern trends, and a commitment to working with local creatives. Focused on youthful, expressive, high-quality fashion. That helps an in ideal stand out in style. She moved back to Lagos Nigeria in 2013, to fully immerse in creating high quality products, creating job opportunities and adding economically to her home country in her own little way.
