Born and raised in Nigeria, Omokhafe Ashafoke began sketching designs at a young 

age . As years went by, the designs created fanned the flames of her love for fashion.  

At the age of 17, she had started taking dressmaking classes. After her tertiary 

education in 2019, she enrolled in a professional fashion school to improve and learn 

new techniques including pattern cutting, sewing and creative direction. Also took a 

course on the business of fashion. 

 During her journey,  her  class and  sense of confidence  this led to the creation of her 

women’s wear brand ASHA in. Every piece created embodies/ portrays 

sophistication, elegance and undeniable modern femininity.

ASHA” is coined from the founder’s last name “ASHAFOKE” meaning respect 

which symbolizes the crown and poise of a woman . It’s born from the search of 

satisfaction by a woman that sees fashion as a vital expression of one’s personality.  

ASHA offers contemporary clothing which revolves around simple yet flamboyant 

silhouettes, gorgeous drapery with a timeless quality that will undoubtedly last a 

longtime and are designed to be feminine, vibrant, and functional. Each piece is 

carefully and individually handmade for glamorous and cosmopolitan women who in 

turn represent the brand.
