My journey with crotcheting started in 2020 during the lockdown. Out of curiosity, I decided to try it out after seeing a friend on instagram doing it and i taught myself through youtube tutorials. My first project was a bralete made from left over yarn of my previous knitting projects and from that moment,i knew i had disovered something that really spoke to me. When the world opened up again,i began creating and selling pieces to my friends. at that time,i was refining my skills so i spent countless hours learning and experimenting.After finishing campus,i found myself searching for something that would not only uplift me but also allow me express my creativity and that is when i decided to take crotcheting seriously and transform it into a brand.CHIR was born out of a desire to create pieces that embody confidence,boldness and indivuality.I started by designing outfits for myself whenever i went out.The pieces i made were statements of identity and with each and everyone of them i wanted to create something that challenges conventional dressing while empowering anyone who wears it to feel unapologetically bold. CHIR celebrates self expression through daring sillhoutes,vibrant colors and rich textures. My inspiration comes from the fearless energy of women who are not afraid to own their presence,That's why we say OWN YOUR BOLD.
