Djainin (which is Ivorian slang for jeans) is new on the African scene but has arrived with a bang. The brand’s first collection is a synergistic exploration of street ware and a love for the Ivory Coast's fabled, post-independence golden age. The brand’s founding designer Jean-Yves Kouassi loves it so much in fact that he has put legendary Marie-Thérèse Houphouët-Boigny as the face of the entire collection.
