This ladies, leather handbag is handcrafted from the finest leather. “Mahlaseli” is the Sesotho (language spoken in Lesotho) name for the sunray design on the bag. They represent the strength, warmth and nurturing character of African women. Each bag is produced in collaboration with local artisans. The exterior made with high quality, durable, pull up, leather. The interior is lined with soft Shweshwe fabric, a special type of local printed cotton cloth, which is known to first have been gifted to the Founder of the Lesotho nation, King Moshoeshoe I, in 1840 by French Missionaries.
