My name is Nnenna Deji-Lana, and I’m the founder of Greatlady—a brand built around ease, elegance, and the kind of comfort that makes a woman feel beautiful without trying too hard. I balance my creative work with a career in risk, audit, and compliance, but fashion has always been my expressive space—the place where my love for colour, texture, and detail comes alive. At Greatlady, I create breathable, stylish pieces for women who want to look good and feel relaxed at the same time. Every outfit—from our Ankara short sets to embroidered bubus, silk pieces, and linen sets—is designed with real life in mind: Lagos heat, busy days, soft moments, travel, events, and everything in between. I focus on easy silhouettes, luxury-feel fabrics, and versatile pieces you can dress up or down depending on your mood. My work is grounded in the belief that comfort and elegance should exist in the same outfit. I’m inspired by African femininity, everyday women, rich aunty energy, culture, colour, and the softness of living well. I love creating clothes that allow women to be expressive yet comfortable—outfits that move with you, breathe with you, and tell a story the moment you walk into a room.
