TMSwim is a contemporary swimwear brand founded by Omowa Temilade Deborah, a Nigerian fashion entrepreneur with a passion for cratmanship and versatility. My journey began at 17 when I started designing my own bikinis, exploring how pieces could be constructed to flatter real bodies while remaining comfortable and functional. What began as curiosity quickly evolved into purpose and over the years, the brand has evolved into a contemporary swim & resort wear brand, proudly made in Lagos, Nigeria. The brand creates effortless, thoughtfully constructed pieces designed for warm climates, destination travel, and everyday moments beyond the beach. Each design prioritizes comfort, confidence, movement, and durability proving that swimwear can be both functional and refined. Understanding that talent alone is not enough to build a sustainable brand, I intentionally immersed myself in the fashion industry through internships and work experiences. Learning directly from designers, production teams, and fashion platforms allowed me to gain practical knowledge in garment construction, brand development, and business structure insights I continue to apply to TM Swim today. TM Swim was created to address the limited availability of high-quality, locally designed swim and resortwear within the Nigerian fashion industry. Its mission is to empower women to feel confident and at ease in their bodies through intentional design. Its vision is to expand and stabilize the swimwear and resortwear niche in Nigeria while meeting the growing demand for destination-ready pieces that compete confidently on a global stage. Through small batch production and mindful craftsmanship, TM Swim continues to build a brand rooted in quality, authenticity, and long-term impact.
