My path to fashion wasn’t a straight line. I actually graduated with a medical degree, but I’ve always found a much deeper sense of ease in creating. My first love was illustration; I can still remember tracing caricatures from my mother’s magazines as a little girl, just trying to capture the lines on my own paper. That early spark eventually evolved into a passion for styling, and after running things ""off and on"" since 2020, I finally decided to take my creative business seriously and make it official in October 2025. Based in Abuja, I design for the woman who has places to be but refuses to be uncomfortable. Our climate is temperate and humid, so I prioritize breathability above everything else. I lean into natural fibers like linen, cotton, and silk because I believe functionality is just as important as the aesthetic. Blush and Barn is built on the concept of ""elevated easy-wear."" I am a minimalist at heart, and I’ve never quite bought into the ""go bold or go home"" mindset. I believe that simple, soft silhouettes can be just as edgy and stylish when they are done right. My goal is to create made-to-order pieces that allow women to breathe, move, and feel entirely like themselves, proving that with the right styling, simplicity works just fine.
