Phyllis Agyeman is the founder and creative director of Menajoa, a women's wear fashion label specializing in bespoke pieces and ready-to-wear collections. With a degree in Social Work and Sociology and a professional certificate in Fashion and Design from Joyce Ababio College of Creative Design, Phyllis merges academic insight with creative flair to craft garments that celebrate heritage and harmony. Menajoa officially launched in April 2018. Later that year, she teamed up with Shuttergeeks, a photographer, on a breast-cancer awareness campaign-her first major collaboration. Phyllis launched Menajoa's inaugural ready-to-wear line in March 2023, followed by a second successful drop in October. Her first full collection, "Blossom Edit," debuted in November 2024. This collection highlights craftsmanship and unique details; each piece reflects creativity and passion, drawn from nature and intricate patterns. Phyllis designs each garment to evoke timeless elegance and contemporary confidence, and she hopes all her pieces bring joy and beauty to everyone who wears them.
