Founded in 2004 by Benin City native, Igunma Osa-Jean, Olode and Thread has grown to become a well renowned menswear brand. Igunma found his way into the world of fashion after first studying engineering, which he found wasn’t for him, and completing a degree in Business Administration from the University of Benin.

He found his calling after studying Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. Olode and Thread has since seen incredible growth as they continue to design contemporary African menswear.
