With immeasurable love and passion for creation, Treatwell is a Fine Artist whose work and
subject matter spans from the idiomatic, emotive language of portraiture and facial expressions,
to form a more elaborate narrative of work composed of impressionistic marks that he applies
onto a surface.
As opposed to the traditional way of art making; he has an avant-garde style and technique
which enables him to create charcoal and pastel textured drawings to evoke the illusion of
reality in one's perception. Collectively, in a peculiar manner, his work execution additively
becomes experimental, allowing him to explore new ideas through research, spontaneity and
