My name is Adeyanju Victor, and I am the founder and creative director of Taylor Vade, a premium jacket brand born from a deep passion for fashion and a desire to make a difference. My journey began with a BSc in Philosophy, which taught me to see the world through a lens of meaning, purpose, and possibility. This perspective has shaped not only my approach to design but also my commitment to using fashion as a force for good. Before starting Taylor Vade, I had the privilege of working with some of Nigeria’s top fashion brands—first as a freelance designer, then as Creative Designer for Trax Apparell. These experiences opened my eyes to the incredible talent and potential within Africa’s creative community, but also to the challenges we face in building sustainable careers and businesses. Taylor Vade was created not just to make beautiful jackets, but to tell a bigger story—one of hope, empowerment, and pride in African craftsmanship. Every piece we create is a celebration of timeless style and modern innovation, crafted with care and designed to last. But beyond the fabric and stitching, our true mission is to create opportunities: to build wealth, provide jobs, and inspire the next generation of African creatives. My inspiration comes from the resilience and creativity I see every day in my community. I believe that fashion can be a powerful tool for change—helping people express themselves, feel confident, and build a better future.
