My name is Tecla Wanjiru a self-taught crotchet artist and founder of totally hooked a crotchet business focused on curating fashion forward crotchet pieces.Our story began in 2020 during covid where crotchet brought me a sense of peace and grounded me amidst all the chaos.What started as a hobby & passion slowly transitioned into a business come 2021.I have always been an artistic person, from being in design school for my undergrad, dabbling in artwork,painting and the likes so crotchet came natural to me.The story of totally hooked is a learning process and a resilient one built on putting into the craft for 5 years now and I can't wait to see how the story continues unfolding. We strive to continue the old age practice of crotcheting, while making it classy and something worth having in your closet.
